All-Star Embroidery is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Chattanooga is in the southeastern corner of Tennessee and shares its border with the State of Georgia. We are surrounded by mountains on all sides, one being the historic Lookout Mountain which looks down on the Tennessee River and Moccasin Bend. We are centrally located, and easily reached by interstate from Nashville and Knoxville, TN and Atlanta, GA.

In 1984, our company was formed by one of the co-owners, Cathy Kendrick, in her home. In the beginning, the company was known as Creative Lettering and the assets were one single-needle hand operated Pantograms template machine. The services offered were basic monogramming of names and initials on golf shirts, sweaters, jackets, and caps. Our product line consisted of shirts, caps and school jackets with the school name on the back in tackle-twill lettering and a name of the front. There was a great demand at that time for the school jackets and the company grew swiftly.

In 1989, the company incorporated and changed the name to All-Star Embroidery, Inc. At that time, James D. Kendrick joined the company on a full-time basis. He came to All-Star from a materials handling company, where he was their Chief Design Engineer. He also worked in the Marketing Department as an outside salesman for several years, and continued with them on a part-time consulting basis for a few years after he left to devote his time to All-Star Embroidery.

Also, in 1988, the company moved to its present location at 4053 South Access Road.

The company has grown from this humble beginning to a nationally recognized force in the embroidery industry serving customers all over the United States. We are proud to have Baradun Multi-Head Computerized Embroidery machines in our production areas, with a combined total of 67 heads. We are also very proud of our Digitizing Department that not only produces the designs necessary to operate our machines, but also furnishes computer design disks to other embroidery companies located throughout the U.S.

All-Star Embroidery, has been recognized by Stitches Magazine as one of the Top 50 in the nation, and it ranks in the top 20% in terms of size. Our product line has increased to include Corporate Casual Wear, with many well known brands like Cutter & Buck apparel and Red Kap Uniforms. We are also an Authorized Supplier of Dizzy Dean Baseball Merchandise.

We at All-Star, feel that much of our growth and success can be attributed to our philosophy that we believe it is easier to maintain a happy existing customer that it is to find new customers. We consider all of our customers as our friends.
